My husband’s a drummer and all I’ve got

To show for it is this stinkin’ band poster.

Tower of Babel--my hubby's band.

Anyone notice a pattern yet? The better I learn to work with images, the more fun I have putting them up.

Anyway, if there happen to be any vocalists within the Lawton, Oklahoma area who are interested in some hard rock with a little screaming, please go to myspace.com/towerofbabelband and give my husband a hand. He desperately needs a new hobby.

The reason I am blogging about his band is because, well, I couldn’t think of anything better to blog about. I have had a few revelations about writing (character development, point of view, descriptions, setting, etc.) but I didn’t know how to approach that subject. Who am I, but a lowly amateur and novice in the world of publishing, to try to teach others the fine points of writing? What could I teach them that they would not learn through practice, through reading both the successes and mistakes of other writers?

So I figured, “Eh, I’ll try that later.”

Besides, I’ve got a full schedule today, but I just couldn’t let another day go by without blogging and mentioning the

views the site has gotten so far. Which averages out to about 5 or 6 views a day. So thank you whomever keeps checking back for new stuff that I’m never as good about as I should be.

So we’ll end this blog with a banner (I can’t afford a bang yet) and if you are a musician or singer in the area or just curious, go check out the page.

Thanks for reading everybody and I’ll see you next time.
